BOOKING AND PAYMENT
The booking becomes binding for both parties once it has been fully paid according to the terms specified in this agreement.
It is highly recommended to make the reservation directly through the visitinio.fi website. This reduces the risk of human errors, such as incorrect months or email addresses, which unfortunately occur more frequently with phone bookings.
Full payment is required when booking using the customer's chosen payment method.
Partial payments must be negotiated separately and can only be granted for full-house rentals or long-term stays.
After booking, the customer will receive an automatic confirmation email. Arrival instructions will also be sent again the day before arrival.
Bookings can also be made by phone (+358 44 0552253), in which case the customer's details, as well as the booking destination and time, are recorded manually. The customer will receive a payment link via email at that moment. If payment is to be made by invoice, this must be specified separately.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
Cancellation does not apply to any special lower-priced bookings that do not include cancellation rights. For all other bookings, the following cancellation terms apply:
If payment is not made during the validity period of the payment link or by the invoice due date, the booking will automatically be cancelled. If a cancelled booking needs to be rebooked, the reservation must be made again.
Cancellation must be made by phone (+358 44 0552253) and in writing via email to villa.hogbo@saaristokodit.fi. The cancellation is considered effective once the service provider receives the cancellation notice.
If the booking was made over the phone and recorded manually, the customer is responsible for verifying the details. The service provider is not responsible for errors made during a phone booking that lead to the booking being declined or the wrong booking date.
Cancellation is free 14 days before the arrival date.
If cancellation is made 14 - 5 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the accommodation cost will be charged.
If there are less than 5 days before the arrival date, the full cost of the booking will be charged, as well as in cases where the customer does not notify the service provider of their no-show.
If the customer is entitled to a refund of the booking fee or a 50% refund, it will be paid within 14 days to the bank account or payment card provided by the customer.
If the trip is interrupted due to external factors, such as sudden illness or missing the ferry, the customer may seek compensation from their own insurance company. However, the service provider must be notified of the cancellation immediately.
BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
The booking date can be changed unlimitedly up to 5 days before the arrival date.
The booking can also be exchanged between other properties of Saaristokodit, such as Villa Högbo or Villa Facklan.
The customer will be charged the difference if the booking is upgraded to a more expensive room or service.
If the exchange is made for a cheaper room or service, no refund will be given.
